On the second Saturday of many warmer months, members, neighbors and their invited friends meet at the clubhouse for cocktails (BYOB), shared appetizers or side dishes, fellowship, swapping lies about fishing and boat speeds, analyzing partially formed (but staunchly held) political opinions, swapping recipes and similar important matters. Attendance ranges from 15 to 40 currently. It has proved necessary to leave the pups at home. They had too good a time.
An email to members and neighbors goes out early in the week. Time is 5-7 PM in the cold months and 6-8 PM when the days get longer. We change with daylight saving time.
This is a great place to meet other members and form future fishing partnerships.
